Northern Ireland weather LIVE: School closures and traffic updates due to heavy snow
A number of schools are closed in Northern Ireland on Friday due to weather conditions.
A yellow weather warning for snow issued by the Met Office covering the entire region remains in place until 2pm on March 10.
This morning, NI Road Policing and Safety said: "Please take extra care on the roads today especially on those which may not have been gritted.

"Clear your windscreen of ice and snow before you set off and remember to slow down and increase the distance between you and the car ahead."
In a tweet at 5.51am this morning, Police in Newry, Mourne and Down said: "Only venture out this morning if you really must. Snow continues across the province and freezing temperatures make things worse.
"If you must travel, clear your car properly of snow and ice, leave extra time for your journey and SLOW down!"
Trafficwatch NI said: "Temperatures through the night fell below freezing across the province. Salting of the main roads has been undertaken through the night and this morning.
"Road users are advised to exercise caution when travelling, particularly when driving on untreated roads."
